Due to the local impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Leadership Rancho Cordova Class XIV took action to address the immediate needs of our community. With input from Class XIV and community leaders, the Rancho Cordova in Action fund focuses on three community groups. These groups were chosen since they may encounter difficulty securing resources through other sources.
Rancho Cordova has nearly 3,000 hospitality employees. This group is vital to our economy and has been impacted by the nearly 80% decrease in hotel reservations within our city. The employees need our help with essentials.
Veterans helped establish Rancho Cordova after World War II. Many were stationed at Mather Air Force Base and helped lead the charge for city-hood. We have a long history of appreciation for our veterans and those currently serving our country.
Rancho Cordova has many talented residents who give our city personality, inspire creativity, and enrich our culture through art and music. The Arts are an important part of every community and need our support.
If you are an organization providing services to one of these groups, apply for assistance from the Rancho Cordova in Action fund.
